Set Up/Training Services:
- A determination of which QuickBooks software is right for your business
- Product installation
- Customer, vendor, and chart of accounts setup
- Beginning balance entries
- Payroll service consulting and setup (if needed)
To set up and train a client with a new installation of QuickBooks will require 2 to 3 appointments lasting approximately 2 hours each. We break up our appointments to allow our client to absorb and process the information presented. The first appointment is focused on installation and navigation of the software. We also set up your Chart of Accounts and show you how to set up your vendor and customer lists. The next appointment is focused on invoicing your customers and tracking your bills. The last appointment is designed to review the set-up, configure payroll (if necessary) and design custom reports as needed.
Support:
EMS provides a range of custom support options ranging from on-site training to remote control support in which we can log onto your installation remotely to provide support. We also offer telephone support. As a former telephone support agent for Intuit, Mr. English understands how to explain issues clearly over the phone and has the benefit of understanding your program setup offering a consistent level of support. Also, if problem needs to be referred to Intuit's support team, there is no extra charge.
File Review and Data Analysis:
- Review existing file for incorrect set up or usage
- Run reports to tie out ledgers to Balance Sheet
- Review Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reports looking for improper classifications
- Review chart of account usage and balances
- Review client's usage of program looking for recommendations to increase effectiveness
- Determine if client is using most current release
We will provide a three-part report of our findings and recommendations. You may implement our recommendations yourself or hire EMS to do it. We recommend this file review to be done quarterly or semi-annually to prevent small problems becoming huge problems.
